Los Angeles – the city of angels - its mystique and allure attracts dream-seekers and vacationers alike. You won’t want to miss the magic of Hollywood with its Rodeo Drive and Universal Studios. There’s nowhere else in the world like it. Take a stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame, visit Warner Brothers Studios, explore Griffith Park - America’s largest public park- it even has a golf course. The Los Angeles Zoo and the Griffith Observatory are also located in the park.

While in Los Angeles, visit the La Brea Tar Pitts. This prehistoric treasure draws visitors from the scientific to the curious. The largest cache of Ice Age fossils to be found in one place, tons of fossil bones have been excavated here.

A trip to LA is not complete without a visit to the world famous Santa Monica Pier. There are shops, restaurants, arcades and of course the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. The pier is home to the famous 46-horse carousel that has appeared in many movies.

Venice Beach is a great place to watch the passing parade. From the promenade you can watch street performers and eat at picturesque sidewalk cafes while you catch some rays and an ocean breeze.

Union Station is familiar to movie buffs everywhere. Built in 1939 in Spanish Mission style, it has appeared in many movies. While you’re checking out architecture, don’t forget downtown’s renovated landmark the restored Bradbury Building.
